Renovation Update: (photos will be posted next week)
- The new bar is framed, faced and ready for the top;
- The rough plumbing and electric for the bar are in place;
- The new ladies room has been framed out and the rough plumbing and electric are in place;
- The opening in the wall for the 12ft x 8ft door to the patio has been cut, framed and the steel beam installed;
- City Inspections for the plumbing and electric are scheduled for Monday, 03/11/13;
- The wall that was behind the old bar in the Kennedy Room has been extended to 23 ft. and sheet rocked to accommodate the shuffleboard.
- The steel support posts have been encased in sheetrock and cover with stained plywood and trimmed with chair rail;
- The light switches for the Kennedy Room have been relocated;
- Some minor unexpected problems arose which delayed the work a little but were remedied by the Contractor;
- Spackling the new sheetrock and patching all the holes and cracks in the walls;
Upcoming week we anticipate the following work to be accomplished:
- Plumbing trenches will be filled with concrete;
- Wall Wainscoting installed;
- Granite bar top;
- Complete inside wall of the bar;
- Completing electric to the bar:
- Finish installing ceiling grid:
- Install new duct work for the HVAC
